Tips and Care

Caring for your signs, banners and vehicle lettering is very important to maintain a clean and high quality appearance. Here are a few tips:

Banners

When hanging a banner, try to hang it directly against a wall. If you are hanging a banner between posts, please order a heavy-duty 13 -16 oz banner complete with ropes or straps sewn into the banner on both the top and bottom edges.

When storing a banner for future use, NEVER fold the banner. Always roll the banner up with the vinyl graphics on the outside of the roll. Store in a cool and clean place.

To clean a banner, use a mild detergent, warm water and soft sponge. Never use a pressure washer to clean a banner.

Signs

Most signs can withstand years of weather abuse. To clean your sign, use a mild detergent, warm water and soft sponge. Never use a pressure washer to clean a sign. If the graphics fade over time, please contact us to remove the old graphics and replace them with new ones.

Vehicle Lettering

Most vehicle lettering jobs will last approximately three years. If a "high-performance" vinyl is used, the life expectancy will increase to 5-7 years. Please let us know how long you plan to keep your vehicle.

To clean vehicle lettering, use a mild detergent, warm water and soft sponge. Never use a pressure washer directly on the vinyl graphics.

To remove vinyl graphics, use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the vinyl and release the adhesive. Gently pull off the vinyl. You may see that the vehicle paint under the graphics has not faded but the other paint has. Use a polishing compound and/or car wax to restore and blend the finish.
